PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

We have three intervention strategies for our work in the communities of the municipality of Rabinal:

Promotion of women's rights and gender awareness at the community level, in primary and secondary schools, and in public judicial institutions such as the Civil National Police, the Public Ministry, and Justices of the Peace.

Education and promotion of women's political participation in community, creation of Municipal Women's Committees with representatives of community organizations so that women's demands are heard at the municipal and departmental level.

Support and assistance for women who are victims of family violence as they navigate the legal process, psychological support and shelter while they decide on their next steps, and skill development and training so that they can be economically independent and improve their quality of life.
